We want you to love your purchase from us, and we stand behind the quality of our products. Your satisfaction is very important!
60-Day Return Policy
You have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt/email or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To start a return, please email us at weloveusshop@essence.com If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Defective or Flawed Items
- Within 60 Days: If it's been less than 60 days since your purchase and your item is defective or flawed, simply return it as described above.
- Beyond 60 Days: If it's been more than 60 days and your item is potentially flawed based on our assessment, we will correct the issue or discuss a new or similar item with you. We stand behind our products even after the 60-day window for flaws, so please reach out!
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at weloveusshop@essence.com so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Special Note on Mae Clutch Bags
Our Mae Clutch bags are unique, as they are hand-dyed and/or hand-painted. Due to this artisanal process, some dye or paint may transfer to other areas of clothing. These bags cannot be recreated exactly. However, if an issue arises, we can offer you something similar or an item of the same value.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned: perishable goods (like food or flowers), custom products (like special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (like beauty products). We also cannot accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The quickest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once your return is accepted, you can then make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you if the refund was approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
