About Black Paper Party
Black Paper Party is a Black-owned holiday and gifting brand based in Bentonville, Arkansas. Founded in 2020 by J’Aaron Merchant, Jasmine Hudson, and Madia Willis, the brand designs gift wrap, gift bags, stockings, candles, decor, and ornaments celebrating Black families, traditions, and culture. Pitching their venture on ABC’s Shark Tank (Season 15), the co-founders built the brand to fill a glaring market gap in authentic Black representation across holiday imagery.
